SPAIN TRAVEL VLOGS

Buenos dias!

How is everyone doing? I have been having so much fun with my fiancé here in Spain! From going to see castles, to partying it up at the fiestas in the villages around us, going on road trips to hand out our wedding invitations and also seeing some amazing views, with human nature at it’s finest 🙂

I have been vlogging on the weekends so that you can join in the fun and see the amazing sceneries through our eyes. I know many of you have been dying to hear Jairo speak English so I have been trying my hardest and at times I catch little snippets of him trying and it is the cutest thing! His cute Spanish accent is to die for 😀

Currently on my channel I have two Spain Travel Vlogs. I have worked really hard on both of them and it would mean the world to me if you could head on over to my channel and leave a comment on my latest videos letting me know if you enjoyed my video; constructive criticism is more welcome also!

Here are my new vlogs:

Subscribe to my channel if you enjoy this footage and to keep updated with my uploads! Also, please share the love by sharing my videos with your family and friends as they may enjoy it also ❤

Enjoy! x

My 2016!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I cannot believe 2016 is over! Just like that. BOOM and another year is gone! Wow, where do I even begin…

Actually, I know exactly where to start!!!! If you cannot tell by the amount of exclamation marks my excitement well let me tell you how excited I am. Yesterday, the 2nd of January 2017, I reached 1,000 subscribers on my Youtube channel!! 😀 Now, I know I have not posted a video in one whole year on my channel as I have been extremely busy and have not had the equipment with me in order to be able to film good quality content, it is still a big milestone that I have reached and it has been a personal goal of mine for quite a while. So when I received the email this morning I was stoked! Ok, now that I have done my happy dance and shared my excitement with you let’s move on to how 2016 treated me.

At the beginning of 2016 I was a little nervous to be honest. I was hoping that things would be a little easier than 2015 because 2015 was a tough one for me. However, in saying that I was nervous I was also extremely excited because towards the end of 2015 I had planned a big trip/change in my life that I will go into a bit more detail soon. One of my goals for 2016 was to spend more quality time with friends and family before my big change. I feel like I had accomplished that goal as I planned many outings with friends and spent a lot of time with my family members, especially my parents and sister which was really nice. I really feel like I have started to really take advantage of the little time we do have free from work to spend good quality time together.

On the 14th of June 2016 I took a big step and jumped on a plane alone to Europe! I spent four nights in London and then was off on my second Contiki Tour which toured around Europe with my best friend that met us on our first stop, Amsterdam. The tour lasted about three weeks and let me just say it was a wild three weeks! I had so much fun! We went to eleven different places around Europe. We visited:

 • London
 • Amsterdam
 • Berlin
 • Prague
 • Munich
 • Austria
 • Venice
 • Rome
 • Florence
 • Switzerland
 • Paris

I met and partied hard with some great people on this trip. All the places we went to were beautiful in their own way. I was also amazed by some of the cultures we were surrounded by. I absolutely love travelling and seeing and learning interesting facts about the different places around the world, it literally opens not just your eyes, but your mind too and helps you grow as an individual. Here are some photos of my time on Contiki:

I had a plan for myself. My plan was that after Contiki I was going to live and work in Spain for one year. So when I completed my Europe trip in Paris I went straight to Spain and was living with my grandparents. I have dual citizenship, meaning I am an Australian and Spanish citizen. In the first month living in Spain I got all my Spanish documents sorted and then got myself a job at an English academy as an English teacher which was an experience and one of my dream jobs since I was in High School. After a month I also met someone amazing. I was really enjoying my time in Spain but apart from family members I didn’t have any friends and the only friend that I did make lived in Madrid and was only down for a few weeks in the Summer. Madrid is about 4.5 hours away from where I live in Spain so it was hard to get together with her. So I found not having friends hard and then when I hit the 6 months mark of living overseas I started to become really homesick and I actually was suffering from really bad migraines and anxiety. My boyfriend took me to the hospital and the neurologist told me I had to stay in the hospital for a week because my migraines were really bad and I had lost strength in the right side of my body and also my anxiety was not good at all. While I was in the hospital my dad surprised me and told me that in a weeks time my mum and sister were coming to Spain to be with me for a bit to see if they could help me feel better which was such a beautiful surprise since I was extremely homesick also.

Flash forward five weeks after my mum and sister arrived in Spain and my boyfriend and I decided to come to Australia with them for a few months to be with my family. I am so grateful to be back here. We spent Christmas and New Year at home and I am very happy. I did not think being away from home was going to be so hard, but it definitely became difficult for me. I now remember speaking to a friend of mine before I left to Europe and she was telling me how when she went to the U.S.A. a couple of years back that she had the same idea as me, to live and work there for a year. However, she told me that when she reached 6 months she became homesick and came back home. I guess I was in the same position as her. At first I felt really sad that I couldn’t go through with my plan, but health comes first and I would rather be home and get better then head back over, than to be there unhealthy and unhappy for another 6 months just to say that I lived overseas for one whole year.

Overall, 2016 was a GREAT year for me (without thinking too much about the negative couple of months leading up to the New Year). I ticked off a few things off my bucket list, like travelling around Europe (although there are still many countries left to see), teach English in Spain, and live in Spain.

I hope 2016 was good to you all and here’s to a fantastic 2017!

The Christmas Tag!

Not long to go now!! I am beyond excited 😀

Since I have been sitting here for the past few days with a swollen and sore face due to having my wisdom teeth taken out on Tuesday, I thought it would be fun to do a Christmas Tag! I found this tag on the internet, however I have seen some youtubers posting this tag on their channels as well.

Time to answer the Q’s 😉

1) What’s your favourite holiday movie?

A: I have two favourite holiday movies and they are ‘Elf’ (of course) and ‘While You Were Sleeping’ starring Sandra Bullock. I absolutely love these movies and I watch them every Christmas without fail!

2) What’s your favourite Christmas colour?

A: My favourite colours for Christmas are definitely white and silver! Although here in Australia Christmas is during the Summer, I love the thought of having a white Christmas (hopefully next year I can live my dream of having a white Christmas 😛 ). So white and silver it is!

3) Do you like to stay in your PJ’s or dress up for Christmas?

A: On Christmas day I generally spend the day at home with my parents and my sister. We open our presents in the morning and then watch Christmas movies all day while eating yummy food 😀 Therefore, I love to stay in my Pj’s all day!

4) If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?

A: REALLY?! This is a question?! Oh my goodness…. I don’t even know… I would not be able to go a Christmas without buying my parents and sister a present 😦 But if I could only buy one I would have to say my sister or else I would have to sleep with one eye open… 😛 haha

5) Do you open your presents Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

A: On Christmas Eve the family gets together at my grandad’s place for a big Christmas dinner and generally we open the presents that we receive from my aunties and uncles, grandparents etc. However, the presents that I receive from my parents, sister and Santa, I open Christmas morning as we gather around the tree.

6) Have you ever built a Ginger Bread House?

A: I have never built of eaten a Ginger Bread House! I want to though!

7) What do you like to do on your Christmas break?

A: On my Christmas break I love to spend time with my family since we don’t get to spend much time together due to our work schedules.

8) Any Christmas wishes?

A: Every Christmas I wish for the same things, for everyone to have a very safe and Merry Christmas spending time with your loved ones 🙂

9) Favourite Christmas smell:

A: Hmmmm favourite Christmas smell… Literally the only smell I can think of is food!! Haha Yep, let’s go with that 😛

10) Favourite Christmas meal or treat?

A: I absolutely love Panettone which is an Italian sweet Christmas bread that can contain dried fruit, chocolate and custard mmmmm so good!

Well I hope you enjoyed reading this tag! I had fun answering these questions, getting me into the festive spirit! 😀

I tag all of you to do this fun Christmas Tag! ❤

Stylish New Year’s Eve | #WeAreFamily Boohoo.com

This time of year is filled with glam, sparkle and most importantly getting ready for new beginnings. As they say “out with the old and in with the new” and may I add, with style!

I love to dress up and look fab to enter the New Year! It makes me feel happy, fresh and prepared to take on whatever the New Year may have in store for me. Although I feel that time flies by super quick and sometimes I become extremely overwhelmed with how much there is to do in so little time, I find myself being very excited to enter a new year because this means I can look back at the year I have had. Not only am I able to look back and learn from the mistakes I have made, I can also look back and be proud of what I have achieved throughout the year.

Spending time with my loved ones at this time is most important to me. I love to spend the final evening of the year laughing, eating, and looking back at the good times with my family. I really like to do all this looking great and feeling fine 😛

I’m not sure if you do the same, but I always purchase something new to wear for the New Year. I believe that wearing something that has never been worn before into the New Year helps celebrate the next chapter and new beginnings in our lives. I especially love to wear a pretty dress and this year I have opted for a dress full of sequins! 2015 has been full of ups and unfortunately mostly downs, therefore I decided to go for a dress that will help me feel bright and happy. I would like to thank boohoo.com for reaching out to me asking if I would like to be a part of their #WeAreFamily New Year’s Eve campaign and for sending me this beautiful Skye Sequin Strappy Asymmetric Bodycon party dress.

This dress is a gorgeous royal blue colour! The front side of the dress is full of patterns that are made from the sequins that make the dress very glamorous. The back has no sequins and is a stretchy material. As you can see from the pictures one side of the dress is longer than the other.

The thin blue straps cross over on the back showing off the shoulders and the back which is always very sexy 😉

My 21st Birthday

On the 27th of October I celebrated my 21st birthday with a bunch of my close friends and my beautiful family. I had such a fantastic time, however it was a bummer that I had woken up with a really bad cold in the morning, ending my wonderful night with a fever! Not cool immune system!

Anywhooo, on to my outfit!

I absolutely loved the outfit that I chose to wear for my fiesta. I wore a two piece consisting of a fitted marbled print asymmetric skirt and a black short-sleeved crop top . These pieces were both purchased in Ally and they were really affordable. The shoes that I wore were actually featured in my Winter Haul video which I will link right here if you would like to check it out <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRPba9DcPHQ&list=UU9rkh284mOstl0qpIzGtRew> 🙂 I bought these black healed boots in Betts. I absolutely love them and they are extremely comfortable.

As for the jewellery, all pieces (except my engagement ring 😉 ) were birthday presents from my gorgeous sister 🙂 She bought them from Colette which is one of my favourite stores to buy some pretty pieces and they ALWAYS have massive sales!

I am wearing a 21st sash, but here are some photos of me at my party wearing the outfit that I adore!
