BLOGGING EVERY DAY IN APRIL?!

Welcome back!

I’m so excited to be writing! I have decided to write a post Every. Single. Day. For the month of April! I’m not sure how I will go as I have never done something like this before but I am keen to try. I know I haven’t been as active on my blog as I maybe should be and there really is no excuse (apart from planning something really exciting which I’ll get into further along, so keep reading! 😀 ).

Since I have my channel on Youtube, my Spanish blog, and the blog that you guys are on right now, I find that whenever I am focusing on one site and attempt to introduce another site at the same time, I feel like I find it difficult to keep up with both let alone three and I become extremely overwhelmed! If you have multiple blogs or youtube channels, let me know if you ever feel like this! In saying this, I want to make it a goal of mine to focus on ALL THREE because it is something that I absolutely love doing and I love interacting with all my followers on each individual site. I feel as though I am starting to become more organised and I’m ready to take on this challenge. I have so many things to share with you guys and I am so excited to start!

Without further adieu, let’s get into the nitty-gritty!

Welcome to my first post of my April challenge. I just wanted to come on and give you guys a bit of an update of what has been happening with me these past few months.

Let’s start with some upcoming travel! There are only TWO DAYS left until I leave for Spain. As you know I was living over in Spain for 6 months up until December last year and had to come back home (Australia) for my health. My fiancé and I have been in Australia for three months and I have been feeling much better and enjoying the most of what beautiful Australia has to offer in the time that we have been here. This was the first time my man has left Europe so we definitely tried to see as much as we could in the little time that we had here and in between my not so good days. He has really enjoyed it which is fantastic!

Also, I have posted a couple of pictures on my Instagram (@talia_aus) with captions stating that my wedding is literally in FOUR MONTHS! Like seriously?! I cannot believe how fast time flies by! To say that I am excited is an understatement! So as you can imagine I have been planning the big day, running around doing what us girls do best, SHOP! I have ordered my dress in Spain and it is absolutely gorgeous! I cannot wait to put it on again! Every time I try it on I cry haha. I have also bought my wedding shoes from the Novotel Boutique here in Wollongong, Australia. Yes, the wedding will be taking place in beautiful Spain; in the amazing Spanish Summer ❤ I am really looking forward to saying ‘I DO’ and becoming a wife to my best friend!

While I am in Spain I am planning on seeing beautiful places and I will be vlogging these so that you guys can enjoy these places with me. I think it will be really fun to vlog again! I have not vlogged in public for so long so I’m nervous and excited to whip my camera out and share my experiences with you all. I’ll also bring you guys along with me while I choose the flowers for mine and my sisters bouquet and possibly some other bits and pieces. Please send me any ideas of some flowers that you think would be beautiful for my bouquet. The colour scheme is white and blush pink with a hint of green 🙂 Leave some pictures in the comments for me! xx

Ok, I think I have covered everything for now! I’m excited to post for you guys tomorrow so stayed tuned and don’t forget to follow to keep updated with my daily posts! Love you all ❤

How To Organize Yourself For An Overseas Trip

I cannot believe how fast time flies! It is Tuesday again and that means it is time for a new post 😀

Hey guys! I hope you are all well and are having a great start to the week. I’ve been sitting in my little office coming up with ideas of what to write about and I keep finding myself thinking about my travels; I honestly cannot get it out of my head! I’m obsessed. As some of you may know, I absolutely love travelling, seeing the world. It is such an amazing feeling! Even though I have not been to many countries in the scheme of things, I feel like I have traveled a fair bit and I do feel like I have quite a bit of experience when it comes to traveling. In two months I’ll be heading back over to Spain and although this time I will not be travelling for a holiday but something extremely exciting either way I thought I would write up a list of travel essentials that you must look into a few weeks before or even a few months before you leave. Some of these were given to me and others I decided for myself as I felt they could save me some time and stress while I am getting prepared for my holiday.

passport
This will most probably be the most obvious to you and you’re probably thinking “no shit.” but honestly you will be surprised as to how many people think of their passports at the very last minute and then stress big time, and on top of the stress having to pay for urgency. Checking that your passports are in date is extremely important. You want to check this out at least 3 months prior to your travel date so that you have enough time to renew it if need be and avoid the nail biting wait to see if it arrives on time. Also, I did not know about this when I first traveled on my own, but ensure that your passport has 6 months validity beyond the date you plan to leave the visited country. This is also very important as some countries may refuse you entry if you are not holding a passport with an extra 6 months on it!

travel-documentsTICK

Check and double-check your travel documents! I cannot stress this enough. No matter if you go through a travel agent to book your holiday or if you take everything in your own hands and book it online, mistakes DO happen! This has happened to me and it was very stressful. This is why I am telling you to not only check once because everything seems fine at the time of booking. I had received my documents two weeks before I was leaving for my trip and there was an error with the hotel transport taking me to the wrong airport I was meant to be leaving from in Paris! If you are an anxious person like myself then you can imagine how nervous I became when this happened only weeks before my travel date. In saying this, please know that things can be fixed. All you have to do is speak to your travel agency and with their help things can be put in place to sort things out. As well as checking dates, times and hotels, always make sure that your personal information is correct.

    tmc
These cards are like a debit card and are essential for traveling to different countries. You load it up before you leave with the currencies that you need for each country that you are going to visit. Generally, these cards hold up to 5 different currencies but to make sure please check with the company from which you purchased your travel money card. Always take a look at the currency exchange rates before you load up your card as this could save you some money. If you find that the exchange rates are really good on a particular day, make sure you change as much money as you think you will need and a bit more to be safe on that day. But also don’t wait too long and keep thinking “I’ll wait until the rates go down a bit more…” because chances are they’ll only increase and then you will be kicking yourself that you did not take advantage of that particular day. Trust me… I have done this many times 😦

cash-money

I would not only rely on your travel money card or your credit card (I would definitely take both of these cards with you by the way). I advise that you take some cash on you just in case. Things do go wrong, for example the eftpos machine is not working or will not accept your card, which is highly unlikely but it CAN happen. So 100% take cash with you in the currency that corresponds to the country you are traveling to.

 airline-rules
From only being able to take 20kg for your check-in bag to 30kg, every airline has different luggage allowances. I recommend searching up the airline you are flying with or even giving them a call to be sure that you have the correct information. I wouldn’t just take someone’s word for it because they may have traveled with a different airline.

   PACKING LIST
This point is self-explanatory but just thought I would pop it in anyway as I know many people, like myself in previous years, do not write ourselves packing lists. I wrote myself a packing list the last time I traveled and let me tell you, it saves so much time! A packing list makes it so much easier for you while you are getting things together to put into your suitcases because you can tick things off your list as you pack them away. Also, check the weather forecast of the places you will be visiting a couple of weeks before! This way you will have a better idea of what you should be including in you packing list and what can be left at home. By doing this, it helps you with taking up kilos that you could have used for things that you actually need instead of things that you could go without.

research-locations          Now it is time to surf the net! Research the location of your hotels and of the places you are dying to visit. By searching the easiest ways of getting from A to B prior to your travels could save you time AND money while you’re there. If you know exactly where you want to go and exactly what you need to do in order to get to your desired destination, then researching this will make life so much easier and your holiday much more enjoyable and stress free. I always make a list of places to see and things to do before I go and then research away 🙂

transport

Airport and hotel transfers may cost a little more from home however it saves you the stress of having to organize your own transportation while you are in a different country and also the potential nerve-racking language barrier. I don’t know about you, but I would much rather have everything completely sorted from home where I 100% understand everything that is said to me and I know the dates, times and locations the tranfers will be picking me up.

Last but definitely not least, HAVE FUN with it! Organizing everything for your trip is all a part of the exciting travel experience!

Any tips that you would like to share? Leave them in the comments below 🙂

5 Tips on Keeping Your Skin Feeling and Looking Healthy

Hi lovelies!

Today I have for you yet another beauty post related to skincare! Can you tell I have been really into my skin lately?

For the past few months I have been paying attention to my skin and how it has been reacting to different things that I do in my day to day life. By doing this I have been able to find what makes my skin look and feel great! Although I am not a skin specialist or beauty therapist, I wanted to share with you all what I found helps my skin look and feel clean and fresh with a radiant glow. So without further adieu here are my five tips on keeping your skin feeling and looking as healthy as possible!

Keep Hydrated

Apart from assisting with brain function and boosting your metabolism, drinking lots of water helps with keeping your skin hydrated as well as giving your skin a radiant glow all day errday! It also helps in avoiding pre-mature aging of the skin and improves skin elasticity. In conjunction with consumption of water, using hydrating moisturisers and exfoliating your face and body provides your skin with extra moisture keeping it young and fresh. This brings me to tip #2 🙂

Skincare Routine

I had never really had a set skincare routine because I could never find products that worked well for me and I was also really lazy when it came to taking my makeup off properly…. I know, soooo bad! However, NOW that I have a set morning and night skincare routine using the same products every time, I have found a massive difference in my skin. Although I still have some acne scarring and the odd pimple here and there, my skin looks much healthier. If you would like to read about my skincare routine and the products that I use, I have posted about it! Here is the link to the post: https://bellafloresa.wordpress.com/2015/11/04/product-review-results-skin-skin-care-routine/

Exercise Makeup Free

Now, we all know that working out is really good for our bodies and makes us look great. As well as this, exercising helps us sweat all the toxins out of our bodies helping with being clean on the inside as well as on the outside. Sweating opens up our pores and unblocks them from all the dry skin and dirt, purifying our skin from all the bacteria and making it look really clean and fresh. Also, I highly recommend working out with no makeup! I used to always workout with makeup on because I used to feel very uncomfortable going to the gym with a bare face, but honestly no one is paying attention to you, they are all focusing on achieving their own body goals. Duh Talia, the world doesn’t revolve around you… geez… Anywho, Since I have been working out without makeup I have honestly have seen a big change in how my skin reacts to all the sweat and crazy blood flow. When I was working out with makeup, after the workout I could literally see all the makeup that was mixed with sweat chilling out in pores and my face wasn’t looking too crash hot. So please take my advice and workout makeup free! I promise that your skin will love you for it.

Eating Clean

Have you ever heard of people saying that your skin is a reflection of what is on the inside? Well it is very true! For a while now I have been trying to eat as healthy as possible. When I say this it doesn’t mean that I refrain myself from having that amazing chocolate covered donut with sprinkles that I saw in the window of my local Coffee Club, it means that I eat healthy foods such as vegetable, fruits, chicken and red meat the majority of the week and then I allow myself to have a cheat day and a cheeky snack every now and then 🙂 Have you ever noticed that after a night out of drinking alcoholic beverages or a day of eating unhealthy greasy food you wake up with a greasy face with a few new spots? Well, every time that I go out for drinks or eat KFC, I wake up with new pimples and my face is an oil machine (as well as my skin I don’t feel too hot to trot either to be honest). Since I have changed to a healthier diet I have noticed that my skin has not been as oily and wake up with a nice fresh glow. It’s great! 🙂

Don’t Stress!

I know, I know. It is easier said than done. However our skin does not react too well to stress. I find that every time I am stressed out, especially when I was going through exams when I was studying, I would break out like crazy! Every day there would be a new pimple. I noticed that the majority of the pimples were situated around my forehead (a nice place for “stress pimples” to attack they say). Also, when I’m stressed I always have a slight frown on my face that I don’t notice I have until I can start to see fine lines on my forehead and then I get scared that I am getting wrinkles at a young age! My skin feels quite amazing when I am stress free and happy 🙂 I love yoga to de-stress, because as well as making me feel relaxed and like a spaghetti after a session, my skin feels relaxed also because 1) I’m not frowning anymore and 2) I have sweated out all the toxins and bacteria so I feel nice and fresh with a beautiful natural highlight.

To sum things up, almost every thing that you do and every thing that you think about in your day to day life affects your skin. So be nice to your skin because having healthy skin will make you feel beautiful and happy.

Thank you so much for reading! I will be posting on bellafloresa every Sunday from now on! Hope you all had a lovely weekend and until next time!

“What is your skin trying to tell you? Often the skin is a metaphor for deeper issues and a way for your body to send up a red flag to warn you that all is not well underneath. When our skin is unhealthy it is usually a reflection of the internal state of our bodies, and is often a sign of poor elimination of toxins and waste products.”

HAUL | Betts Shoes, Dollhouse, Myer, Lovisa & more!

Hi there!

In the past couple of weeks I have purchased a few items that I am absolutely loving, and I really wanted to share my purchases with you all. There have been a fair amount of sales in almost every store that I have entered due to the end of the financial year. I love this time of year! 😛 Without further adieu, let’s get into the haul!

Firstly, I very much needed boots for the Winter season – a pair that was more for everyday casual wear and another pair that I could use to dress up an outfit a little. I ended up choosing two pairs of ankle boots from Betts Shoes. I absolutely love this shoe store! I own a fair few pairs of shoes from Betts because I find their shoes to be of great quality, they always have such a wide range of different styles and they also usually have great sales! I definitely recommend trying out some of their shoes. Here are a coupe of pictures of the boots I purchased:

The next items I purchased were purely for retail therapy purposes 😛

My sister and I really enjoy going into the store Dollhouse, however I rarely end up buying anything pieces from there because they are quite expensive. While we were looking around I noticed a $30 sale rack toward the front of the store, so of course, as the bargain hunter I am, I had to check out the sales! They had some gorgeous woollen jackets so we definitely purchased one each! My sister and I always share our things, so for the purpose of this post I will provide a picture of both the jackets right here:

Myer ALWAYS has fantastic sales so I usually go into the store just to have a sticky beak at the many items that are on sale, I just find doing this therapeutic, and I know that I am not the only one! I really like walking around the Miss Shop section of the store because this brand tends to stock the styles of clothing that I really like. I found this basic grey T with the saying “Mon Amour” on the front of it. It was on sale so I decided to get it even though it is Winter here in Australia. But I decided to get it because I will be travelling to Spain in a couple of months and I just thought it would be comfortable to walk around in, in the European heat 🙂 I really like having these basic T’s handy as I feel like you can wear them in a very casual way or you could dress them up by pairing them with jeans, heels and other items. Here is the one I bought:

On to jewellery! I haven’t been into Lovisa in a very long time. I used to be in love with this store but lately I have been extremely into Colette because I really love their styles. However, the other day I walked past Lovisa and noticed they had a fantastic sale going on so I decided to step in and check out what items they had available. Honestly they had so many things starting from $3!!! I bought multiple pairs of earrings from there, no other pieces. Here are the earrings I bought:

earringsFinally, onto a foundation that I purchased from my local pharmacy. I haven’t noticed any Designer Brands in stores around the my area before, but they finally brought the brand into this pharmacy. I am excited about this because I have almost used up their Extend-A-Brow product that I had received in my Lust Have It box and I wasn’t sure where I was going to be able to purchase it from when I finished it, but now I have no worries!! Anyway, I purchased their Longwear 24 hr Full Coverage Foundation. I will be filming a first impression in a few weeks for it 🙂

Well that is all folks! My haul is complete 😀 I hope you are all having a fabulous long weekend and I look forward to posting my next post x
